PortHavana is a fun, professional, talented & exciting Latin - American Rock Band composed by multiple accomplished musicians from various locations throughout the United States and Latin America. Due to its cultural diversity, PortHavana brings a rich and powerful performance to your musical events. The band focuses on delivering the best Rock, Pop, Alternative, and Classic Rock sounds from the 60's through the 2000s., in both American and Latin Pop Rock genre. The diverse Rock Band is experienced playing both large and small intimate events; making the band perfect for any weddings, themed parties, fundraisers, and corporate events among many.
Charlie
Lead Guitar and Rhythm Guitars, Back-up Vocals, Songwriter , Record Producer.
Venezuelan native Charlie “GZ“, has been playing for over 25 years. Mostly known for his work with “Defenders” his musical drive is strongly influenced by the “Blues” and “Grunge” sound of the 90’s. His musical influences and passion for the music enables him to bring a powerful, edged and balance sound to the band’s live performances.
Josh "The Bassman" Burgos
Lead and Back-up Vocals, Bass and Rhythm Guitar.
Born in Puerto Rico, Josh “the bassman” Burgos is an American rock / jazz bassist who began his musical career in Los Angeles California (1999). Mostly know for his work with “Damn Good Question” , "Milpa" & “Héctor Serrano Band”. As a singer song writer and music composer, Josh Burgos likes to explore numerous styles of music, bringing a soulful feel and dynamic playing to the studio and stage. Musical influences: The Beatles, AC/DC, U2, The Cure, Radiohead, Pink Floyd and More...
Julian "Porcaro"
Drums, Percussion and Back-up Vocals.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Julian was influenced by music early. Since the age of 8, Julian has developed an extensive love for music; particularly for drumming and percussion. He started his musical journey since 1997, where he shared the stage with multiple bands performing numerous styles of music. He is strongly influenced by various styles of music to include Smooth Jazz and Soft Rock among many others.
Red Ivan
Singer Song Writer, Music Producer, Lead and Back-up Vocals, Rhythm Guitar and Keyboards
Born in Dominican Republic Red Ivan, as a singer song writer and lyricist he has been playing for over 25 years. With influences from Rock, Pop, Blues and Electronic he has been part of several musical projects in Dominican Republic with bands like Imagen Oculta and Atlanta, GA with Shadow Lens, Letters to Alan and Mystik Kode, as well as his solo project RedDivan.
Christian Torres
Lead and Back-up Vocals, Rhythm Guitar, Piano, Keyboards & Drums.
Born in California and raised in Puerto Rico, Christian has been surrounded by music his entire life. With influences from artists from all genres such as Queen, AC/DC, Chance The Rapper, Scary Pockets, Bruno Mars, Cultura Profetica, and more, when you hear him say that he listens to all types of music, he literally means it. He never thought he would be in a band, but his love of performing made him want to be a part of PortHavana.
